today, I am going to introduce my family members...

this is our pet, name, Scrapy....

he loves to go out because he stays at home all day long.....

it's me....Queenie....

I love singing, swimming and shopping...

but in new york, singing and swimming are the two things really hard for me to do

first, it's hard to find a KTV

even there is a KTV, the songs there are almost the old songs

second, there is no swimming pool near my house....

so i have to take a long time to get to another swimming pool...

she is my counsin....

she came here when she was ten...

so, she can speak english very well..

last year, I lived with her in the same room...

so...seriously she was my roomate..

she is an pastry chief...

she loves to make cakes, pies, ice cream and so on.........

actually, as long as you name it, she knows how to make it..

in my home, there are a lot of dessert....

whenever she made a new flavor of dessert, we were the subjects.....

haha...

she is my younger sistr...

does she look like me???

I remember in one occassion, my sister and I took the taxi..

the taxi driver look back for many times, and he asked us,"are you twin sisters"

my sister came to New York this August....

actually, her english in taiwan is very poor....

she never think that she would come to New York one day...

and now, she is here..

she study in Queens College...

she learn english happily everyday...

sometimes I was shocked by her progress...

because she could say some difficult words or complex sentences...

she can learn so fast, I think the only one reason is her age....

she is so young ...

she is four years younger than me.....

so...that's why....

he is my uncle......

he is from hong kong....

so his english is pretty well....

when I have any questions I will ask him....

he is also my teacher....

my uncle is a nice person, but he loves to drink....

every night he can only drink a glass of wine....(my auntie asked him to do)

my auntie always say that my uncle would forget many things but not for drink....

this is my auntie....

isn't she beautiful???haha

my auntie treat us well...

and I rally appritiage that she let us live with her....

haha...thank you...

when she has time, she will take us for a trip....

she is just like my friend...

i can share everything with her....

I am so happy today...

because I have finished my final exam in EDU 9002 course...

so the rest of the days till thanksgiving, I can live better without stress..

I am looking forward to the thanksgiving day because there is a shopping day during the holidays..

it is called "black Friday"

almost every stores on that day would have big sales...

I remembered last year, my counsin and I went to the Queen Center Mall to went shopping...

we waked up at 4 in the morning..

cause we would like to enjoy the feeling "crowded"

also, we wanted to buy something had good prices...

we bought about 400 hundred dollars within 3 hours...

and this year, my cousin and I decided to go to woodbury(outlet)

we will wake up an hour earlier than last year....

and I believe I can get more things than last year...(my sister is here this year, we have one more shopper with us) haha

This is my cousin's dog...

it's so cute....

he is Scrapy....

he is relly old....about 98 years old..

so we always call him "grandpa"...haha

he has the same birth day with my cousin...

he is a lazy dog...

he loves to lay on his pillow all day long...

after we went back at night, he will awake and stretch his body...

he's reaaly a good dog, he will pee or poo on the newpaper...

sometimes he wll bark at the mailcarrier...

or he barks because he shocked by his own snore...

it's funny...

I love to walk Scrapy.....

this is the only time he will feel very excited...

I have been in America for a year....

this is my first time to join halloween parade...

actually, last year my cousin and I joined hallowen party...

and we dresed up like queens...

but the pictures are in another computer so I can't show you.....

Last Tuesday, Cristine, Eva, Pam, my sister and I went to halloween parade....

we saw many different kind of custumes....

compare the weather in halloween of this year and last year, it was really different

it was hot this year, but it was soooooo cold last year...

the parade was fun

we arrived on six Avenue very early

so we took pictures with the people who walked on the street..

my sister and I broght two camaras, and the memory cards were full with pictures...

the people there were nice, and they were willing to took pictures with us..

by the way,

all the people need to stand on the two side of the street to see the parade....

but, all my friends and I walk in the street with the people who had dressed up....

and we have more chance to took pictures with them....

but I felt a little bit weird, because we didn't dress up....haha

it was really fun......

actually I am shaking...

I went to up state to see maple leaves last Sunday.

We waked up about ten, and then hit the road.

on our way to up state, I saw many trees had different colors of their leaves.

some were green, yellow, the others were red..

when we saw the trees from the far distance, it looked like a picture.

It is so beautiful.

It was cold on that day...

but this is our first time to see the maple leaves,

so my sister and I endured strong wind and cold weather to get out of the car to take pictures.
